INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION is the application of specific techniques, software and / or equipment in a given machine or industrial process, with the objective of increasing its efficiency, maximizing production with the lowest consumption of energy and or raw materials, less emission of waste any kind, better security conditions, be it material, human or information related to this process, or even, to reduce human effort or interference on this process or machine.

It is a step beyond mechanization, where human operators are provided with machinery to assist them in their work.

Among the electronic devices that can be applied, are computers or other devices capable of performing logical operations such as programmable microcontroller, SDCDS or CNC.

These equipment in some cases replace human tasks or perform others that the human being is unable to perform. It is widely applied in the most varied areas of industrial production.
